Data Protection Addendum

Effective date: 2026. This Data Protection Addendum describes baseline data processing terms for WameUp projects where WameUp processes personal data on behalf of a client.

1. Roles

The client is the controller of customer, lead, CRM and WhatsApp data. WameUp acts as processor or service provider and processes data only for agreed project purposes and documented client instructions.

2. Processing Scope

Processing may include configuration, storage, transmission, analysis, troubleshooting and deletion of contact data, CRM records, WhatsApp messages, support tickets, automation logs, chatbot flows and AI assistant context.

3. Client Instructions

The client instructs WameUp to process data to deliver the agreed services, including transfer to Meta Platforms Inc. and relevant WhatsApp Business API providers where WhatsApp functionality is required.

4. Security and Confidentiality

WameUp applies reasonable technical and organizational measures, limits access to authorized personnel and requires confidentiality from contractors who assist with project delivery.

5. Subprocessors

WameUp may use subprocessors listed by category on the Subprocessors page. The client may request information about project-specific providers by emailing info@wameup.com.

6. Return or Deletion

Upon project completion or termination, WameUp will return or delete client personal data upon written request unless retention is required by law, security, dispute resolution or accounting obligations.
